Hannah and Greg built a tiny house that’s welded together for lightweight, durability, and strength. They traveled the country with their daughter for a year before parking the home on her mother’s property in Florida. With the savings, they can continue traveling internationally and return to their small home base.
The house has a loft bedroom accessible via a storage staircase. The living room has a couch and one office, and there’s a second office area upstairs for their work-from-home jobs. They prioritized a coffee station, large shower, and pull-out pantry in this fantastic DIY build!

You might remember our post on VanLab from a couple of years ago, and since then the company has expanded its offerings. It most recently released this super simple IKEA-style kitchen and bed kit that fits easily into 76 different SUVs!
The kit goes in without any fasteners, so it can be removed without causing any damage to the vehicle. This means, if you want to try out nomadic life without a big commitment, you can hit the road in an afternoon! The kitchen kit alone starts at $1,950, and it’s an additional $400 to get the bed section. To get it with cushions, it’s a grand total of $2,800 (but at the moment, the cushions are sold out). What do you think of this system?

Anne stumbled across this gorgeous lot of land in New Zealand with ocean views on one end and gorgeous bush views on the other end. When she bought it, all it had was a garage and a small utility shed. Instead of choosing to build a larger home closer to the road, she decided to make the garage into her home and put a deck off the back with private views of the landscape behind her!
Eventually, she built some small cottages on the front of the property, which she rents out on Airbnb. That helps her pay the bills and make great use of the property she has. Just wait until you see her eclectic/shabby-chic cottage design!

This is a lovely South Georgia cabin with 288 square feet of living space inside and a 6×12 covered porch. You step into the open-concept living room, where you can fit a couch and entertainment center. The kitchen currently only has a sink and microwave, but you could add a hot plate and refrigerator.
The back of the house includes a private bedroom large enough for a queen mattress, and a small bathroom with a shower stall and residential toilet. This would make a great guest cabin, but with some clever storage, it could also be home sweet home. It’s for sale in Fitzgerald, Georgia for $48,000.
