This is to tell you about the Mount Dora Escape Boho Tiny House Vacation in Florida and I’m so excited because I’ve actually booked a stay here this March so that I can experience tiny living in a simple, luxurious, and beautiful tiny house like the Escape Vista Boho.
And what better way to do that than in the quaint village of Mount Dora, Florida, which I’ve never been to. So I’ve got my camera gear ready and I’m excited to capture the experience for you in the photo, video, and even a 360/virtual reality experience (if I can figure out how to use this new camera). Anyway, for now, I wanted you to be able to see and maybe even book The Mount Dora ESCAPE Vista Boho Tiny House for yourself, so here it is below. What do you think? Looks like it should be your next vacation, right? By the way, it is now mid-2020, and you can read all about my experience at this Mount Dora tiny house right here.

This is a lightweight travel trailer that you can tow with your car called the Roulottes ProLite. The company offers several models, many of them are under 2000 lbs, and even some under 1000 lbs, including the on I’m showing you here (the 12V), which weighs approximately 950 lbs.
If you’re looking to travel, adventure, and move about quite frequently with your tiny house on wheels, something like this might be a good option to consider. It’s slightly bigger than a teardrop camper, and much smaller than most tiny homes on wheels, which makes it ideal for frequent travel. What do you think of this travel trailer design? It’s approximately 13-ft. in length and weighs just under 1000 lbs. Learn more below.

This is a two-story 8×8 off-road motorhome from SLRV Expedition Vehicles. When 4×4 is not enough, there is of course, an 8×8 option out there. Not sure how much it costs, but we’re sure the price is far from tiny.
The second level consists mainly of a large sleeping area, kind of like a bunk room or large loft in a cabin. The main level features the kitchen, dining, ceiling bed, and bathroom access.

This is the Monterey Villa Tiny House by Tiny Smart House. It’s a unique tiny house on wheels built on a gooseneck trailer… And this time, the bathroom is built over the hitch instead of the bedroom like we normally see.
It’s a tiny home on wheels with a Spanish-style design. It is available from 16′ to 44′ lengths and in 8′, 10′, and 12′ widths. So price varies depending on all of those options. It starts at $57,475 finished and $28,738 as a shell. What do you think? Learn more below!

This is to let you know that the Stem-n-Leaf Tiny House Plans are on a New Year Sale. Not sure if you remember, but the designer, Adam Rasmussen, of tmbrz, shared some of his designs with us back in 2015 as part of our 8×12 tiny house design contest back then (that was fun!).
Anyway, not long after that, Adam designed and developed the Stem-n-Leaf Tiny House which we featured here. It’s been several years now, and so, if you liked that design now is a really great time to invest in the plans so you can build it later because they’re on sale for 80% off which brings the price down quite a bit. The basic plans, for example are only $20 down from $100. The full plans are $35 down from $175, and the plans + model (which include SketchUp files), are only $40 down from $200. Pretty awesome! Anyway, if you want to learn more about it below and spread the word. Thanks.

UPDATE: Tiny Home Tours just did an awesome video tour with this family after they’d been on the road for another 6 or so months, and I wanted to share updated pictures and the video with you all!
Originally posted August 9, 2020
Just about two years ago, Jake & Jenn decided they didn’t really know where they wanted to settle and put down permanent roots, and they hadn’t seen much of the rest of the US. So the couple started looking for the perfect bus to turn into their family’s tiny home!
Together with their two kids, they’ve gutted and transformed the bus into their new home (@scoutandaboutskoolie). While COVID has delayed their official departure, the home is just about complete! The coolest part? They took their time on the build so they could do it entirely debt-free! The bus itself was about $4,000, and they’ve put another $20,000 into it, including a full solar system that enables them to be off-grid.
We got to interview Jenn about the conversion and transitioning to tiny life, so be sure to check those out after the photo tour!

This is the story of a family of 8 and their bendy bus conversion!
It does 5 and a half miles per gallon but considering it weighs 26 tons, carries 30 days worth of water, and is completely ready for boon-docking, it’s really not bad. Especially when considering the completely unforgettable experience they’re creating together as a family. Their great-great-grandchildren will easily be talking about this. So what do you think? Too big or too cool?
