Randy, you’re inspiring, just as much as Ellen, if not more! Thanks for sharing. Your home is beautiful and I wish you wonderful travels and adventures. Cheers!

How much did the bus cost at the start? THats where I seem to be hitting a big cost in my looking for a bus. The items for the inside I can mostly pick-up for free or at used priced. I want a bus that I can drive to canada and explore national parks, maybe even go down to mexico. Help, where did you get yours?

I ‘m 70+ And when I was 12, my dad converted a 1948 school bus to a motor home. Back then not many people had done that. But the one thing I remember was that the rear door opened and he built a porch to go in and out, it was solid with a hitch. I’m glad to see that your rear door is still functional. Later several friends of the family also decided to convert buses and most actually welded the door shut. My dad almost went crazy with them doing that as the fire hazard was something he could not live with.
Your doing great, and I love how your thinking things through. Happy Life to you.

I love the inside… especially the pressed metal ceiling. The outside, not so much. Actually not at all… to me it looks amateurish in the extreme. But ya know, that’s just IMHO.
