This is William’s Jungle Tiny Home in Belize where he’s living after traveling the US in his DIY Vardo.
Belize is a truly beautiful country and even though it is no bigger then Delaware it has a veered number of micro climates from north to south.
Definitely I am enjoying living here. And using my jungle home as a base for further travels.

More from William:
My little home is eight feet off the ground to add in ventilation and varmint protection. Ventilation is important when you live in the tropics. The house is open and well ventilated. With the doors and windows open to the wind there is a nice breeze. The screen door and screened in back dock, and my cat, named Cat, help to keeps to bugs and varmints out of my living quarters.
There is a nice porch for summer nights and winter mornings where one can set and just watch the monkeys playing in the trees across the creek. and the screened in upstairs balcony is well protected from the rain and is a great place sleep year round.
The house is built of hard wood, all the furniture is locally made by craftsmen, most all the food is locally grown without pesticides or growth hormones. I am working on the start of a raised bed garden and hope to be growing most of my own foods in a year. There are coconut and banana trees growing on my property as well as papaya and sour sap.
There is a farmers market close by open on Friday and Saturdays where fresh fruits and vegetables can be bought quiet easy as well as clothing, music, herbs or just a bout anything one can get in the USA.
I have yet to explore all of Belize from north to south or to visit the famous Blue Holes.
At this time, I don’t know how long I will stay here or where I will be going next. There is sure to be more coming news coming in the future.
