This is the Whippoorwill Treehouse. It’s a tiny cabin on stilts in Hot Springs, Arkansas that’s available to book on via Susan on Airbnb.
It’s one of six treehouses on the property, each with its own personality. The property is 27 acres, bordered by a creek, surrounded by the Ouachita Mountains, and minutes from downtown Hot Springs National Park. But the cabin… Look how simple and awesome it is! It’s a studio layout so there’s no loft or additional stairs beside the one outside.
A comfortable leather couch to relax in.
The breakfast and dining nook with kitchenette.
And, of course, a luxury bathroom.
In its full glory!
Watch the fireplace, television, or listen to the radio.
The little bump-out here sure is nice to have.

Wow amazing. Its a hotel room in the woods. Love it.
Sweet!
Wouldn’t change a thing.
Would not change a thing except that it’s not in California
Wow… you need a crane to get into the bed? What the…????
Older beds, like vintage pieces or antique beds, tend to be higher off the ground, up to around 36” inches (914.4 mm). There being 2 reasons they used to do that being avoiding cold drafts, mind older homes were drafty, keeping the bed higher with the warmer air and aesthetics, with how it relates to the size of the room… Similar to High Boy furniture, etc.
However, they did have step stools to compensate and you can see one next to the bed, in the right corner of the 3rd photo down… While that could be a convenient space for storage, specifically for your luggage…
And it looks like it’ll allow anyone laying down to still have a clear view of the fire place…
Beautiful. When I grew up in Hot Springs there was nothing this cute–at least that I remember!
