Crackling fire in the wood stove warms this tiny, cozy western home! Each board and piece of tin comes from a carefully reclaimed piece of history, and has been transformed into a true ‘one-of-a-kind’ livable piece of art. The hours of painstaking hand work are evident as you look closely at the details of this tiny house; right down to hand cut antique bottle lights, antler lamp and rolling pin towel rack. Nothing in this tiny house says “made in China”! After a long day, and a hot shower from the watering can; one can collapse into bed after only climbing three steps. The vintage electric fridge chills your orange juice while the ‘Olde Timey’ propane gas cook stove cooks your fluffy biscuits and gravy just like grandma used to make! Is the interior ceiling the same piece of metal as the exterior roof, or is there insulation sandwiched between two layers? I would not buy a tiny house without insulation. I do like the homey, western style. Looks comfy.

As far as i can tell by comparing inside and outside pictures there is insulation between the two layers of metal. If there was not, it would not be much fun to be inside it on a really hot day , or a cold one , or hailstorm. I dont think the builder would have skimped on roof insulation , considering all the work that went into the house. But i do love the look and western style of it!

I assume it has some insulation, but I could be wrong. Definitely something to check with with the seller before purchasing!

This is a pretty little tiny home with a lot of unique design elements. The price is pretty reasonable, too. I hope someone snatches it up quickly : )

Is it insulated between the tin ceiling and roofing and sides and floors?

Unknown, but I seriously doubt it given the price, location, and year it was built… Along with some clues like the single pane windows, door, etc… I suspect it was built like a summer cabin, okay for seasonal use but not meant for full timing…

According to the listing on Tiny House Listing, it’s already sold, though…

Why does the Tiny Western House keep showing as it obviously was sold months ago?

Unknown, could be it is being relisted if the deal fell through or some listings were simply never removed as it was posted on multiple sites.

We don’t usually archive posts even if they’ve sold because people can still glean great ideas from them 🙂
