Very elegant makeover in keeping with its vintage vibe. Kudos on a job well done.

Very nice and simply done? This is exactly what I would do. I didn’t notice any insulation or covering on the walls, except for the ceiling. Is that correct?

Hmm I’m not positive, Shoshana! The builder didn’t mention either way.

Pictures of insulation are on page 2. It´s the black stuff you see on the wall. Took me 4 weeks or so to apply and it wa a very nasty job. Don´t know how it´s named in the US , here in Germany X-treme isolator. I mounted it to the floor, the sides and the roof . Cheers, Elie

Great job! I like the clean, simple lines they used on the interior build. Very cool old ride.

You have so much to envy! I’m 60 years young and I’m just waiting to find my jewel to convert. I wish that I had followed my dream back in the 70’s, I’ve always wanted to do just as you have done but was always told “it’s time to be a grown up” well this woman is going to do everything I can to live the rest of my life being happy and roaming the land. Thank you so much for sharing your success in doing what you have.

Where do they use the facilities?

I too appreciated the clean lines. This doesn’t look cramped. Thanks for the info. on the insulation. Has to be very compact in something this small. What brand is the stove and model no.? Most don’t look that nice and practical as well. Thank you for replying, Penny

its a boat stove, Penny. Runs on diesel,
needs very little electricity and fuel.
      unfortunately not cheap:

Thank you. I looked at their website and they do have a dealer here in U.S. It can also be outfitted to use as a heater which is nice. I looked at the stove/oven-see what mean about not cheap. But does look safer for a small space. Looks to be two burner. Thanks again and enjoy your van!
