This is a 1971 vintage Streamline Empress cottage in Bradenton, Florida with a pool, hot tub, slide, playground, and nearby beaches.

It’s available to book on Airbnb via Micah and Jana, and I think it would make a pretty amazing stay. In fact, I’m adding it to my wish list right now so I can stay here in the future. And while we’re on the topic, have you ever considered using an Airstream as a stationary tiny home, kind of like in this situation? Let us know your thoughts about that idea in the comments, please.

1971 Vintage Streamline Empress Cottage in Bradenton, Florida

The Streamline Empress was completely renovated. They actually even removed the bathroom to create more space inside.

They figured most people would appreciate the larger bathroom on the property, which is steps away.

Removing the bathroom really just made it into one open space.

This trailer turned cottage is bookable on Airbnb and is located in Bradenton, Florida near the beach. By the way, this is a California king bed.

The way they decorated the interior is simple, luxurious, and modern.

The custom couch also works as a twin sleeper. You also get a live cactus as a roommate, hehe.

There’s hidden storage everywhere, and loads of natural light coming in thanks to the abundance of windows.

The kitchen has just about everything you can ask for.

The full-size bathroom is less than 50-ft. away.

There’s even a little playground on the property.

And, of course, a custom hot tub with a slide that takes you into the swimming pool.

Nice camper, but why not identify the make correctly? Pretty bold lie to repeatedly call it an Airstream. It’s a Streamline Empress.

Thanks, Christopher, I fixed the write-up! My apologies for that. Believe it or not, it was a sincere mistake on my part.

Oh… got it, thanks Alex. Gotta admit I’m a little bitter with camper envy over this one. So, please excuse my silly rant.

    I enjoy your work, Alex

Bathroom At less than 50 ft is too far for me…😳.

I don’t know who made the call about ripping out the bathroom……but they were totally wrong. Beautiful redo but you have to hike in the middle of the night? Not me!!

I love it, but yes ‘less than 50ft’ is still too far away for me for the loo in the middle of the night. I’d be fine without the shower and would cope with washing up in the kitchen sink to keep the layout this airy but I’d need a tiny closet sized toilet in there for sure.

We love this! They did an amazing job. We love our airstream, which is also available to rent in Harpers Ferry WV on airbnb and on our website http://www.tinyhavenliving.com. Adding this one to our travel wishlist!

Not only would I prefer a bathroom right there for nighttime visits, I also don’t want to have to wait if other guests (strangers) are occupying the on-site bathroom. Oh well. They can’t always be to my liking.

Well, it’s stated to be a private bathroom, and that is the only guest accommodation, so unless you’re staying there with someone else it should only be for your use as the guest…

The distance is a issue, though… Albeit, there’s something to be said for having access to a full size bathroom instead of a RV wet bath, especially, for those of us who may not easily fit in a RV wet bath without bumping into things all the time ;-p

Not to mention reduce the moisture and humidity you’d have to deal inside the living space, as this is in Florida… But they should probably add a porta potti for at least emergency use.

Ah, I had missed that it was a private bathroom. That helps a bit.

I would rather have a bathroom rather than extra storage space. If I am on vacation I will not need a lot of storage space. And walking out to a bathroom can become uncomfortable in the rain or dark night or just plain half asleep. If some people can’t fit in it then they could have an extra bathroom I guess.
