Loved this tour of Art’s tiny! Minimalistic is so neat and orderly. I have a question….what are the overall dimensions of this home?

She should have had Art mention why his structure is different in that it incorporates SIPs and how it saved him money when he built it and how it is energy efficient so others could consider building this way.

    Great details.

Question: is shoji paper used on the bath door waterproof? Best bath door ever.

Shoji comes in waterproof. Had to Google it. Shoji is also not necessarily rice paper, I saw mulberry paper and also acrylic. Try eshoji.com for more options.

I really like this one. Art did a great job on keeping the clutter down to…none. This really makes a difference. Also loved the bathroom door. A little Zen touch never hurts.
One of the best tours/interviews I have seen!

Good idea Frank-if she mentioned why the SIP is practical it eliminates going on yet another link. And clutter-didn’t he mention have storage space in the business….?

Thanks Susanne….the videos should not only be of how cute something appears…..it should reflect savings, usefulness and practicality in constructing a small livable structure….I think that is the purpose of this website….to share innovative ideas in this new and growing way of living.

Many many thanks for the demonstration and for all the beautiful videos. The demonstration does help me a lot to green my grey water and to re-use it for my garden. Many thanks also for the positive contribution to the environment.
    Jonathan.
