On a six-acre homestead in Vermont, nestled in the trees, sits this amazing luxury yurt — equipped for all four seasons! Just outside the yurt is a large curved deck where you’ll find an outdoor shower and the outhouse, along with two lawn chairs where you can sit and sip coffee while enjoying nature.
Inside the yurt is a double bed, seating, and a kitchenette where you can easily cook full meals. There’s a wood-burning stove you can use in the cool months to keep the yurt warm and toasty. This is a perfect romantic getaway!

Um. I might be OK, for a warmer area, but trying to take a shower in 10 below weather would mean I wouldn’t be bathing all winter! Never mind, the joy of a midnight outhouse run. I suspect it would be much better if it were large enough for an indoor shower/toilet, or else if there were a second heated yurt, with kitchen and bathroom available.
I am not a fan of yurts, but this one is amazing and beautiful. I love the pole beams and natural woods, and the handcrafted furniture is gorgeous. It is the perfect amount of space and seems very comfortable. We owned a Fisher wood stove in our first home 42 years ago and loved it. The decks are so pretty and perfect leading to all the facilities. I grew up with outdoor “Johns”, so the thought of going outside to use the bathroom seems normal and natural to me. In fact, I am thinking of having an outdoor John here with a composting toilet in it. As far as the shower, in the winter you can bathe indoors in the sink, right? I have used a sink for bathing ever since I got into this tiny house movement, and it is easy and relaxing. Yep, I am a fan of this yurt. Great job!
