Vashon Island Glamping Treehouse with Ocean Views

This post contains affiliate links.

Skip and Dan found the perfect property on Vashon Island (which is only accessible via ferry!) to put the treehouse they’d been dreaming of. It looks out over the ocean and is tucked in a canopy of beautiful trees.

Because of its remote location, there’s an outhouse and outdoor shower and just enough electricity for a mini-fridge and charging small electronics, making it the perfect place to truly get away from it all.

Up a ladder is a luxurious queen bed that just might make you feel like a kid again. The huge garage door opens up on the first level to the wrap-around deck where you can enjoy a morning cup of coffee, or evening glass of wine. Enjoy the tour with Tiny House Giant Journey below, and book your stay over at Airbnb!

Private Treehouse on an Island: Perfect Romantic Getaway

The tree house has tons of windows so you can really feel outdoors.

The bed sits up in the loft. Love that balcony.

With the garage door open, the indoors and outdoors are one.

VIDEO: Treehouse Tour [Magical Airbnb w/ Ocean Views]

Highlights:

This is a magical place to reconnect with yourself and your partner, free from the distractions of the modern day world. This would be the definition of glamping. Off grid for the most part; There is some electricity for the lights and charging of phones/computer; In addition we do have some battery packs so you can get a charge for your phone or computer. There is a compost toilet; and a camp outdoor shower for summer months; heated by a portable propane tank. We have an out door camping kitchen set up, with a 3 burner grill; Running water is on the property but not in the tree-house and accessed via a hose. There is a swing you can sit and read a book, occasionally glancing up from the pages to gaze across the water; or swing in a hammock and take a nap in. This is NOT a hotel, nor does it come with the amenities of a Airbnb that is a house. This truly is a tree-house, in second growth Fir trees, perched on a bluff overlooking Puget Sound.; There is a very comfortable queen size mattress, in a loft, accessed via a ladder. This is a work in progress so I will continue to update this.

This is wonderful and beautiful! I would love to visit this house. I love the tucked away loft and all the nesting/resting places everywhere. It is truly a great place to visit.

I do like this. I fell in love with one similar years ago, it was also on water. nothing could be nicer
than this type of home. Love tiny houses and the like. The garage door was a great idea.

I love that it manages to still fit the cabin vibe. They did a great job incorporating it.
