There is no room for clothing or much of anything in this. Very disappointing. The stairway is flimsy and I don’t see the value at this price. Prefer something like a yurt with more room. For $65k you can get a lot more than this.

I do have a soft spot for yurts 🙂 — Tiny House Talk Team

It might just be the yaks and other animals that come with yurts! But this thing doesn’t come with wheels. How does one transport it? Too high to go under bridges. Does it come with the land its on?

It would have to be transported by a semi, I believe. Maybe the top part comes off? Good question! I don’t believe it comes with the land. — Tiny House Talk Team

Looks like plenty of room to me. If you have that much stuff then a tiny is not for you. As for flimsy stair case, this is the same one I have going to my attic sewing room over my barn. I have had 2 x 200+ men on it hoisting up industrial sewing machines for the studio. It held them well and every one who has ever been in my studio, including many many children. I do have a railing around the opening in the studio……..Yurts here start at $40,000 weatherproof, and used containers are $10,000 to 12,000 a piece. For the fit and finish of this the price seems to be pretty darn good.

Not sure. You could contact the seller though. I’m sure they have a standard price for that — Tiny House Talk Team

Criminal, absolutely criminal…! Do you realize what the cost or value of a shipping container today in this country is..? Less then $2,000.00 and that is on they high scale… I have priced out what it would cost for a 45′ ft. box container to be fitted out as a tiny house like the vista only larger, and only for example.. I came up with, going thru the local big box stores you know the names, and it was less then $20,000.00 and that is on the high end including solar power, and solar hot water heater.. I did not forget to include anything, and may have included things I would have liked to see on my wish list, and still the price is lower than any of these so called builders of tiny houses today…! People are being taken by some of these so called tiny house builders, and it is just shameful to say the least…! It makes me so mad….!

THANK YOU!!! I knew it could be done cheaper. Just like the yurts. Yurts kits are something like 30 grand! I’m thinking my son and I can get it done for way cheaper! Again THANK YOU

I built my 840 square foot house for $20,000 over 3 years. It’s possible if you do all the work yourself.

    Are these allowed in Honolulu?
Land and housing here is rudiculous…maybe if it is..we could remedy the vast and growing homeless population
Needed in the dying land of Aloha.

Great looking homes. I went through https://www.simpleterra.com/shipping-container-homes/ for my home. They were able to give me a custom floor plan and the cost was reasonable.
