I’m definitely not a Tudor kind of guy. However, this how has a number of great features… The stairs, the upstairs railing, the placement of the washer, the the corner fireplace. Good job folks.

I absolutely love the interior of this home but I don’t like the Tudor style exterior.

Didn’t see any reference as to why the pictures did not show the bedroom, but LOVE the rest of it!

For this company, there can be lots of reasons why they haven’t shown everything yet…

Tiny Heirlooms is the company behind the HGTV/DIY network show Tiny Luxury. So they may not be able to show everything until a certain time after the episode airs…

The owner who they built it for may also simply not want every aspect of the house shown.

While it could also have been a matter of time because they would have to squeeze a photo shoot between the completion of the build, the production of the TV show, and final delivery to the customer… While also staging everything and managing to get good photos or requiring some Photoshop work to fix the photos if they couldn’t get the right lighting, etc. for every shot…

I love the bathtub and kitchen – and the railing for the loft is delightful. Being rather short myself, I realize that sitting in the “living room” I would not be able to see out of the windows. That’s the only thing I’d change – to have 2 nice windows that are low enough to see the view from a sitting position. I wish the client many years of delightful travels in her Tudor Tiny House.

Reminds me of my grandparents house after they had retired. Built in the 14thC and one third of a larger wool merchants house it was tiny and comfortable like this one. Only niggle, wooden frames pre date the Tudors by a couple of centuries and are frequently painted pink or a beautiful creamy yellow (was told that the pink was originally lime wash with either blackcurrants or pugs blood added for colour), Tudor houses are often marked by beautiful and intricate designs in brickwork on the outside. Either way this is a beautiful little house and I have just lost my heart to it.

Too fake for me. And I am not into tudor. I have no idea why the exterior should look like something it is not. And I do not like color stained wood. It would be more appropriate to use the original materials, before one claims something to be tudor. And it is way too dark.

Love Tudor, love this house! Just needs a turret to be perfection.

    • Eric
      May 25, 2018, 7:16 pm

Add a turret and you can’t tow it. Becomes FAR too high to be able to be legally towed. On just about every road in the world I would suspect.

        May 26, 2018, 1:26 am

No, like exceeding the other road legal limits it simply means you will need to acquire a permit and be restricted to which routes you can take but you can still tow it with proper planning.

In the states, the federal government doesn’t stipulate a height limitation requirement. So the actual height limitations are set by each state and varies according to the area, what obstructions are present, what hazards are nearby, etc.

So there’s exceptions depending on which routes are going to be used…

The 13′ 6″ height limit often quoted for Tiny Houses in the states is mainly for highways but it is really for the eastern half of the country. The western states actually raise that limit to 14′, Colorado and Nebraska raise that to 14′ 6″, and Alaska sets the limit at 15’… But with a permit you can go beyond the those limits, provided there is a route you can safely tow it to your destination from your starting position.

While side roads can have lower limits…

So you can tow it, there would be just restrictions on where and which path/route you can take…

While, all of that is assuming it’s a static structure… Remember, you could simply have something that extends up, or added on, when parked.

Transportable 2 story Tiny Houses have been done…

How nice to see a house – tiny or otherwise – that is NOT white-on-white-on-white! Lovely, especially with a tub, a nice kitchen, and a chair (not a built-in anything) beside the fireplace (which I realize is not wood-burning!). And from a former Ren Faire employee, Huzzah!

Where did they get the bathtub from??

      May 30, 2018, 11:33 pm

They only said they special ordered it and it was expensive but it looks like a 49″ Abbey Hammered Copper Slipper Clawfoot Soaking Tub – Antique Copper, which would go for about $2,149.00…

I’m surprised at all the comments negative for this house. Evidently, most Americans are unfamiliar with Storybook or Fairytale homes, even though the heading clearly indicates this is a Fairytale styled home.
There are 2 main types of Fairytale homes: French Storybook, and German Storybook. This would be more the German type. Think Hansel and Grettel.
Storybook style is what you see in Storybooks…Fairy tales. Think Cinderella and you can identify French Storybook. Think Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, and you can identify German Storybook (think of the castle, leiderhosen, the cute village in the last half of the movie). One less-seen genre is Asian Storybook – think Mulan.
Storybook style is an idealized style. Think of Hobbit homes, and how there are now houses that look “Hobbitish.” The Lord of the Rings movies started that trend. Shall we argue that no REAL home can be a Hobbit home because they are not located in a mythical shire? What about Rivendel, and homes styled to look elvish?
I admire homes where creative styling meets a functional design, as in this home. Do I like every single aspect of this home? Nope. But I’m not going to live in it. Tiny homes are uber functional because every square inch has to count. So the best tiny homes are designed for the person(s) who are going to live in that house. Tiny houses that are generic make me cringe. Every tiny should be what the owners need/want. Tiny homes are by definition unique. Should they all be generic and try to “blend in” with standard boring houses? Doesn’t work.
I live in a French Storybook styled THOW, and it suits me very well. It may not suit others tho.
    https://tinyhousetalk.com/carmen-and-tims-lived-in-french-storybook-thow/
    It bears repeating:
Every tiny should be what the owners need/want. Let’s celebrate the uniqueness of each tiny!! There is enough strife in life that we, as a community that loves tinies, should be supportive of other people’s tiny houses.
    This one is adorable.

The quality of craftsmanship is outstanding. Probably the best design and material usage I have ever seen in a tiny home. Very impressive! Thanks.

I love the Tudor styling inside and out; especially that staircase. This is a gorgeous home and the fact that it is mobile is an added plus. The only thing I would want is for it to be off-grid. Otherwise, this is my cup of tea. 🙂

Awesome, I love this tiny house. Would have preferred more seating in the living room, but otherwise great job. Do you know the name of the color paint they used on the cabinets? I absolutely LOVE IT! 🙂
