Tiny House Built by Tree Heads & Co. as Mobile Coffee Shop

This post contains affiliate links.

This tiny house on wheels in Japan is designed and built by Tree Heads & Co. to be used as a mobile shop that sells coffee, soft drinks, and snacks.

It’s situated near a bus stop so people getting off can enjoy coffee, drinks, and snacks while enjoying wonderful mountain views.

The shingle siding is made from cypress. And the little cabin on wheels has a living green roof which will soon have flowers. It’s called the Green Roof Tiny Shop.

This has got to be the strangest contraptio-er-tiny house I have ever seen. Sort of like Tiny House meets Tim Burton. Nonetheless, it does display good craftsmanship despite the charred outside shingles and strange shelving/stairs on the inside. Dr. Seuss would be proud. 🙂

Just to be clear it’s a SHOP, not a house. I think its a spectacular job. I cant imagine a propective customer seeng it and not wanting to check it out.

I am loving the scorched siding more every time I see different versions of it! Now, the structure itself is a little off the mark, as I don’t see any plumbing whatsoever. Must be just a vending shack as without a handwash station or triple sink there will be no baked goods or sandwiches, etc. Those features would make it easier to imagine it purposed as a tiny home. I love live edge lumber, and can vision it being placed as countertop, shelves, loft edge, etc. having children as models is a little deceptive to the eye in trying to estimate adult clearances.

Love to see this stocked and ready to go. As I am looking into such a mobile store for my business, I’d enjoy seeing others answers to the many questions such a project brings.
