This looks amazing and beautiful. Because it is requiring a minimum of a one night’s stay unfortunately I will have to relegate the beauty of the experience to someone else as I don’t think I can hold my bladder that long. Even after going to the site and looking through the information, there just doesn’t appear to be a toilet and no mention of where the closest one is.

Does mention it’s near the Orbaden Spa and Resort, which can be part of the booking, and nearby restaurants and shopping areas that would have restrooms…

But likely the toilets are the outdoor type…

Yeah, I saw the resort mentioned but the ‘nearby’ thing isn’t explained. An outdoor toilet of course would be ideal if close but I just found it weird that they don’t mention the toilet at all considering it isn’t in the cabin.

It’s something to get used to while traveling that some countries have different norms and etiquette around availability and use of restrooms…

Sweden generally has easy access to restrooms, especially in popular tourist areas, but the catch is most of the public ones require a “toa-tia” (‘tia’ = 10 crown coin) or similar fee… So it’s a good idea to keep exact pocket change handy while over there and familiarizing yourself with what etiquette is expected in their use…

Like, when going to a restaurant, the restroom may just require a pass code but it’s expected you order something before asking for the code… and they’re more strict on everyone cleaning after themselves, restrooms will usually include a cleaning brush, and washing your hands with soap…

The exception to the charge would be public libraries, which are free to use… Though, this system generally means the restrooms are very clean and well maintained… Though, avoid the ones at train stations…

But even the remote cabin or tree house getaways there will have at least an outhouse nearby and relieving yourself in nature, nearby bush, etc. is usually not allowed and can actually get you fined… So they’re unlikely to leave you without options…
