This is the Tiny Surf House in Florida.

Outside, you’ll notice it’s a 224 sq. ft. tiny house that’s built on top of an oversized garage.

When you go inside the tiny home, you’ll find a studio-style floor plan with a pull out bed that doubles as a couch, a full kitchen, bathroom, and an upstairs sleeping loft.

In addition, the roof of the garage is used as ample outdoor space. Pretty awesome, isn’t it?

This Tiny Surf House will be featured today at 4:30 PM EST on HGTV’s Tiny House, Big Living. If you don’t have cable TV, you can watch the episode later on Amazon. Please enjoy, learn more, and re-share below. Thank you!

What I love about this website is the variety of Tiny Homes. Each one gives me some ideas about what to incorporate into our next TH build. This one includes a bathtub; which is on my must have list.
Thank you, Alex for a wonderful website!

looking at the photo with the garage door, I thik I could have liked this house. I found the pictures/video odd & really confusing and have no idea how things are laid out.

    Hello,
This is great! The garage for auto and laundry and upstairs is all living, a patio for guests and entertaining or just watching the surf w your sweetheart. Fabulous “homeport” 🙂 Hang ten! God bless you and thanks for sharing. Nice job Alex!

I saw the couple build this on the Tiny House TV show. It was a great idea. They really made good use of the space. And I loved the tub. I have been looking at plans and tiny houses for about two years. I’m disabled so I have to have the bed on the bottom floor. There are so many choices now. I love looking at all of these tiny houses.

I saw the couple build this on the Tiny House TV show. It was a great idea. They really made good use of the space. And I loved the tub. I have been looking at plans and tiny years. I’m disabled and need a bed on the lower floor. And a full kitchen. And a loft for my 5 year old grandson.

Kinda cool. Am curious about that lower level. I see a garage door, but, the door to the right has me confused. I am presuming there is a staircase behind that door….but what else?

    Go Gators!

The garage has a roll up garage door at the front and back (ability to drive straight through). There is also an access door at the front and back. Inside the garage is a gym, washer dryer, and a variety of boards for the water.

In 1993, I owned a nice 3/2 standstill home near Sacramento, California. I bought it to add a master suite and office over the two-car garage. I loved the views from my new second story, including the views from my custom six-person tub. Ahem.

Cripes! Looking back after nearly two decades in my THOW, what would I do with all that cubic space now! Probably clutter it with junk…

Hi, I am trying to find more info on this build. That link to the Amazon season 4 episodes works but I do not see the episode with this house in it. Also unsuccessful so far finding it on youtube other than the video on this page. I am interested in block construction for forest fire protection. Any updates or more info on this house would be great. Thanks!
