Tiny Studio Apartment for Live/Work

Zoku, which is Japanese for family, tribe or clan, facilitates global living and working for the traveling professional. Zoku is a new category in the hotel industry: a flexible home/office hybrid, also suitable for long stays, with the services of a hotel and the social buzz of a thriving neighbourhood. You can live, work, relax and socialize with like-minded people – while getting wired into the city. (source)

The way all the different parts of these Zoku rooms fit together just fascinates me. 😮

I bet they aren’t cheap, but this is so much better than those “executive suites” in most extended-stay hotels….it really does feel more like a small apartment than a hotel room.

Amazing. A standout element for me is that hide-away staircase, it’s genius! I love the way they’re re-thinking things.
