I like the raised bed with built in storage beneath and how it must feel like movie theater in there at night! Cozy place to watch a movie that’s for sure. Also notice the built in shelves throughout for storage.

Thanks for letting me know about this, Alex. Previously unaware.
I might book a night on this thing, just to see what its like (its just across the water from me, so no big trip).
Will let you know how it goes, if you want.

Is there really a 30 day minimum stay?

Nice layout – I wonder what the interior dimensions are, and whether a similar layout could fit in a THOW.

Pity the airfare’s a bit steep to find out! It seems like the West Coast gets the lion’s share of these tiny treasures, while I hardly ever see posts like this for things on the East Coast. 🙁

I agree with you Rue and would also like to have this information. I’m not in America so the cost of checking it out is definitely prohibitive. 🙁

When I was first married and a student at Seattle Pacific the wife and I lived on the canal there in a shack on a raft. Bought it for $400 and sold 2 years later for $600. No where near as fancy as this house boat but great for newly wed college students. Be fun to visit it some day and see how things have changed at the moorage. Seems much probably changed since 1957.

Hank Burroughs – Are you saying you haven’t lived in Seattle since 1957?
Oh man, are YOU in for a shock!

    . . . it also states 30 day minimum stay . . . guess that eliminates me 🙁
