This is a tiny house with mountain views in Monroe, WA where you can vacation.
From the outside, you’ll notice the house has cedar siding, a barn-style roof and a tiny porch area. It’s 8×20 and was built by a woman with no construction experience.
When you go inside, you’ll find a huge loft bedroom, a living and dining space, a kitchen, and a bathroom with a sink and repurposed wine barrel tub. It’s available to rent for $150/night on Airbnb.

Hi Alex!
For the past couple of years, i’ve worked to build a tiny house on my days off from teaching art. She (tiny) is 8×20 but feels bigger! I didn’t have any construction experience (other than 8th grade woodshop) before I started building, so I learned off of reading articles like the ones you send out, youtube and tiny house blogs. Her construction began when I was 24, soon after I graduated college and was looking for a way to learn about building, design and alternative living spaces. I built tiny mostly on my own, with occasional help during the two-person jobs, and I hired out for the electrical work. I want people to know that they are capable of so much more than they think they are. I certainly never thought I would be building my own home by hand, even just five years ago!I’ve started an air bnb page to do nightly rentals and start paying off her building costs. The hope is that in a couple more years, i’ll be moving in. I thought you might be interested in sharing my tiny with your readers! I’ve really lucked out and found someone in a beautiful rural area outside of Seattle, and a wonderful host to help me run the rental while i’m working.

Great design! I really like your entrance hall with storage bench and coat hooks. It looks like you also have nice storage under and behind the sofa/day bed. Thank you for sharing. Kudos for building this yourself.
Due to the distortion made by the camera, I can’t tell what this one likes like so I have no opinion. Would have to either ask for truthful photography or go and see it myself.
