I like it; but I do need to make a correction that you very often overlook. It is not a home. It is a trailer. One comes with a deed; the other comes with a title.
JB – If people live/could live in a movable abode (trailer, THOW, van/bus conversion, itinerant motel) it is their/a home. As they say, Home is where the heart is…NOT home is where the deed is!
JB, you’re confusing the land with the house… You can have a deed without a house because the deed is really for the land and what’s considered part of it, which may or may not include a house and any other structures.
So, if a tiny home is tied to the land then it can have a deed as it is then part of the property… In places like Oregon, which have the Reach Code, a Tiny House on wheels only has to meet the 2018 IRC ICC to be able to be taken off the wheels and placed on a foundation, just like a Manufactured House, and then be considered the same as any regular house on land, for example.
While Sherry is correct that the meaning of a home is not limited or ever had a singular universal meaning that was the same to everyone and everywhere…
I can see living in a tiny house if that is your choice or budget, but NO WAY would I pay money to stay in a SHED!!
It’s clearly not a shed, so what’s the point of your comment?
