128 Sq. Ft. Honeymoon Tiny House For Sale

This post contains affiliate links.

I’m excited about sharing this 8′ x 16′ tiny house for sale with you because the asking price is only $22,000 (update: SOLD). Plus it’s really cool, creative, and has some unique features.

Most notably it has a large honeymoon-style bathtub which is super rare in tiny houses on wheels. In addition it has a custom murphy style queen bed that you can flip up and down (and so you don’t have to use a sleeping loft at all).

You’ll also find a kitchen with an apartment size refrigerator, separate bathroom with RV flush toilet, a bench with storage, systems for multi-functional tables, built-in storage throughout, and more. It was built by Trekker Trailers.

A couple had it custom built by Trekker Trailers but they are now starting a family and are going to need more space so Trekker Trailers is helping them sell it. If you’re interested in buying it contact Andrew Bennett (the current owner/builder).

I am impressed with all the details, such as the little shelves everywhere, and the way he used every bit of space, as in the rods for hanging jackets and such in the small space between the fridge and the wall; also the storage under and behind the couch. I think I could live in this house except for one thing, and that is the big bathtub. I realize that the couple for whom the house was built probably loved it, but to me it is impractical in the small space. I would prefer a small shower stall rather than the wet bath, and ditch the tub, although the tub doesn’t occupy space near the bathroom so you couldn’t use the space from removing it to enlarge the bathroom. All in all it is a lovely tiny house.

Lots of amenities in a few square feet! Wish I could afford it for traveling, but I need my larger tiny home to live in full time.

This is really impressive. I’m awed by all of the amenities. For someone who loves camping, or travels a lot for work, or a bridge home, you couldn’t ask for more. Kudos to the builders.

This is a great RV while traveling, but I don’t think it’s livable as a tiny home… too small. But it would make a great RV! You could travel anywhere and not have to book a hotel room. Save loads of money.

Did they ever say where this is currently sitting? My concern is resistance to termites and rot….a very real concern here in coastal Florida. Otherwise, it seems like a possibility for one person. The size is not an issue for me. That tub would just end up as extra storage.

The first Tiny a House I’ve seen that I hate everything about – a combination of misused space and a cheap RV feel just leads to claustrophobia.

One man’s claustro is another man’s cozy. Hate is such a strong word. Does that mean the weak are the lovers? 🙂

I wonder if there is something about TH’s that increase fertility? It seems quite a few owners get pregnant soon after moving in! Perhaps its the forced closeness LOL?

you could buy this beauty and an acre and a half lot on an existing organic farm intentional community for around 80k.

Ex USN sailor here, lived shipboard- comments:

    A) Microwave too high=severe burns likely.
    B) Random shelves with corners sticking out= Not a good idea in a tiny space; better to make them all collected in one or two spots, going top to bottom-this way your brain remembers where they are at 2:30am when you get up to go to the bathroom, and your eye socket doesn’t have to pay the price.

…That being said: LOVE THE TUB!!!

What a great idea. I love the hidden bathtub. This is one sweet tiny house. I’m a huge fan of flip-up/down and hidden, slide-out shelves for lots of extra table, desk and counter space and the builder really made sure they supplied plenty of that. …I am and always will be, a loft-lover. They’re just fun. 😀

I love it! I want it! So, so wish I could have one, and just get out of all this crap I have to take care of.

As soon as I saw the shelf above the bathtub I had wide-awake nightmares of the TV set falling off the wall & into the bath. I couldn’t see anything to stop them falling off if bumped. Yikes! Shades of Norman Bates. Plse advise yr viewers of the dangers of electrical appliances falling into water when bathing!

The TV mounts to that board with screws. It’s not going anywhere! Also, they make such things as GFCI for that purpose. I love the house. It gives me some great ideas for one I am planning.

It is cute. Great for camping for one or two people, but I would want a larger tiny house for living in. Though it would be fun to soak in that tub. 😉

I see the a/c but no source for heat? I’d lower the shelf that holds the conventional oven and attach a light blocking shade over the skylight so the summer sun wouldn’t bake it out. Otherwise this is outstanding!

~sigh~ Yet another Tiny House that’s flipped in less than a year. As many a wise commentator has written on this site, if you build it TOO TINY, there is zero possibility of having the house expand to your new needs. Was $22K, had to be marked down to $19K to sell it.

Rather than all these micro ‘social experiments’, the couple would have been far better served had they built a 300+ small house so a a) home office requirement, and b) pregnancy could be incorporated into their life. It all seems so transitory when you make “Much Ado About Tiny” but bail on it in less than a year’s time.

I think someone needs to suggest to the guy filming to get someone to help. Al the swooping when he was trying to show off features one-handed made me motion sick.

Love this for just me and the dogs.
I wouldn’t want the tub so would replace it with that under bed closet we saw a few newsletters ago.
I love all the houses and ideas you share with us Alex.

I can’t believe some are griping about the price. Standard homes in my area are right at $100 per square foot. So that is $13,000 for a basic structure but not on a trailer and not with custom details: sliding TV mount, exotic wood, special sink, flip-up bed, skylight. Plus you have to remember that all the expensive items are still in there just compressed into a small footprint: bath, sink, refrigerator.

Excellent use of the gas lifts under the bed! I used a pair on my build and they are great, definitely useful in unique situations tiny homes can present.

Window A/C units need to be hidden, that placement looks, well, tacky, and makes the home look diminished. I am sure the rest is very nice.

My shop is 8X12′, or 4′ shorter than this. Whoever took the pictures must be great, because they’ve supposedly packed a whole lot into a small space, and still room to move. I’d stick with just a shower probably, but even better would be a small walk in tub so you had your choice between shower or bath. However, if you insisted in a tub under the bed, use some imagination. The gas struts are too cutesy, a simple pully system to raise the bed would work fine, the struts are expensive to replace too – priced them at $50 each for my Jeep Wagoneer, got around that by clamping a small, $1 pair of vice grips on one strut to hold it open, works like a charm. If I just had to have a tub, I’d get a smaller one, with room on each wall for a seat, then have a top that lowers to form a table, then the bed can rest on that.

Stuff like this just makes me plain tired about these builds. Seems like all of it is something copied off of someone else, and that someone else didn’t necessarily know what they were doing. Just not getting any inspiration here, so I’m dumping this site, and sticking with a couple of others that do inspire me.
