Tiny House For Sale in Payson, Utah

Wanted to show you this tiny house for sale in Payson, Utah.

It’s listed on eBay right now and was built using Tumbleweed plans from November 2010.

The little house was built on an 8’x18′ flatbed trailer.

It has electric, water and sewer hook ups just like an RV.

This tiny cabin on wheels even has a bathroom with RV style flush toilet and shower too.

The upstairs loft has a skylight, there’s a tiny built in porch, and two closets inside.

I encourage you to check out the rest of this mobile, stick-built home- with log cabin siding- below:

To me the way they built and designed the porch cover makes it look a little modern.

I’m not a fan of the bright green accents inside and out but that’s something that can pretty easily be changed. I do like the front door though because of the window.

This design is pretty cool because you can use the extra space in the back corner as an office or hobby area if you wanted to.

Asking price? (I knew you’d ask)

Bidding starts at $42,000 with a buy it now price of $60,000.

Granted a house like this would normally cost you around $22,000 or so in materials to build yourself so a big part of the price is construction labor.

Get more information and get in touch with the owner/builder of the house over here at the original listing on eBay.

That asking price is way too high. What are we doing if tiny houses cost so much? Isn’t this supposed to be for the common man and not the silly man?

Debbra W.: Agreed! I can buy a foundation house for that price. I believe they need to let a bit of ‘air’ outta that inflated price. Just like Real Estate, if these prices hit the market they will decrease the pool of buyers.

I agree. When you look at the cost of a regular home in many areas or even a motor home, it is overpriced.

This seller will not likely see the buy it now price, or the minimum bid for that matter. When you are truing to sell your tiny home you must let it see dome light, giving the appearance of size. There is even a skylight you can barely see with that dark window covering.
I am a fan of covered porches, but on a trailer this size you need the space in the home. Or, built it large enough to actually use!
Tiny home bathrooms are hard to photograph but when you don’t even try I have to wonder what you’re not showing us.
I wish them well in their sale. I think there is a deal here for a buyer who waits them out.
