Smart move. It looks great, and no dried out needles all over the house, either.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE this idea!! removes the worry of a tree fire, you still have a beautiful living tree outside the rest of the year, removes the cost of having to buy a tree every year, no mess inside the house, the only thing I might add is getting some of the big plastic ornaments from like dollar general to decorate with. One year I just wasnt in the mood to decorate, my kids are all older and lived far away so instead of a tree I ran a string of garland with lights and ribbon at the ceiling/wall line and placed ornaments along that.

Wish I could see more of this TH. I love what I do see and the tree idea is great.

Oh, this isn’t the first time they’ve been showcased on this site… They built their home about 2 years ago. So they have a fair number of photos and videos, including a time lapse video of it being built…

Just do a search for either their site name “Shedsistence” or “SHED tiny house”…

I believe Titan Tiny Homes also built a copy of their home about six months ago called the Silver Bullet…

You are so right Jame D, this is the Shedsistance tiny. It was the house I voted as the best of the year 2 years – or maybe it was 3 years?- ago on Tiny House Talk, and remains my all time favorite today. Figures the folks who designed this clever comfortable house would suggest an outdoor Xmas Tree!

Love the tree idea. We didn’t do a tree this year, we were in the middle of building our tiny 12 X 40 house.

Maybe you can use the idea for 2020 Christmas. Curious, is your 12 x 40 tiny house on wheels or foundation?

Wasn’t this featured before? Looks familiar and I love this home. Christmas trees are too messy. I do buy a real tree but I am anxious to get it out of the house after the 25th. LMAO!

We’re planning to do this because of our indoor kittens this year. I was just discussing this with my daughter. Nice to see someone else thinks like me. Lol
