Fit and finish, choice of materials, and colors are perfect for low maintenance and style. Typical Oregon simplicity and cost-effective application in construction. Nothing frivolous, just the necessities…Can be a rental, and can even be for seniors who are nimble(stairs)…The only thing lacking is the full floatation…This area could be under Sea by the end of this century…The model with the arches ceilings is VERY attractive. This company, (like Crossroads LLC) should consider Park Model 12′ wide models with the Boxed Steel frame.

Totally agree with you… I was gobsmacked at the cost. And I live in New Zealand where everything COSTS.
No worries, NZ still costs more. This is just beach front property as it’s literally a 3 minute walk to the beach and is in a high demand area where you can be on a waiting list for around 5 years to get a spot but you can skip that waiting list with this option, which is still lower cost than other options in the area. So not a typical place or situation but goes to show how location can have a significant impact…
Beautiful! If I didn’t already love my tiny home near Mt Hood Oregon I’d be tempted with this one.
Anyone that pays $700 per month to live on such a tiny piece of land, in a trailer park… needs to rethink how they spend their money. For $8,400.00 per year in rent… you could be buying your own piece of property somewhere and park your tiny house on your own piece of property.
$700 is low for Oregon for park rent. Park rent includes garbage service, recycling service, water, landscape work and yard debris pick up, community resources, security. Add in the costs of connecting to electricity, water, sewer or disposal, site clearance, permits and many other costs you have when using and setting up your own property…a park is a bargain. Believe me, I know what the costs were to setting up a tiny home and my park rent is way lower than the costs associated with buying my own land. I can live in a park for 16 years before the cost would be equal to what a private property lot would have cost me here in Oregon.
True, renting often includes many services and amenities that otherwise could cost you more or otherwise impose more of a burden to provide yourself and owning property has its hidden costs to consider.
Both renting and owning have their pros and cons, which won’t always work out the same for everyone as to which will be the better option for their individual situation and location. So while it is true that renting can be cost prohibitive over time but it’s also true that owning a property can cost more to own and develop than the home you put on it as well.
Along with variables like being in a high demand area where the waiting list, in this case, is around 5 years to get a spot versus a lot that can be included in the sale to be moved in right away, being among the many other factors that can effect people’s choices and what you may actually be paying for can be to have the opportunity/options you may not otherwise have and changes what you may be getting out of it…
