Jana and her fiancé have been happily living in their tiny house, Rose Home, since November 2016. She now aspires to help others create beautiful, functional, and affordable homes of their own.

Sarah’s interests in ecology, design, local economy, and place-making harmonize around the topic of alternative housing. Having graduated from Mount Holyoke College with a bachelor’s in Architectural and Environmental Studies, Sarah enjoys putting her education and values into action! She has had six years of tiny house research and owns a self-designed, self-constructed tiny house called Rhizhome. Sarah endeavors to help people strategize their own simple dream, specializing in sanitation innovation, zoning, and eco-friendly materials.
