Love your Tiny House, very well designed! Question: Did you put a sealer on your ceiling and windows? If so, what did you use?

I love this house except for one thing and that is the toilet. I would put an RV flush toilet. What is the price of this home?

Hi Maria! Not sure about price as it wasn’t listed, but unfortunately they don’t ship to the US anyway… bummer!

Charming, just the right size THOW! I love it as is, no changes but one— I would have an apartment size Fridge. The window with a desk/dining spot is beautiful. Well done!! OMGosh! I just spotted the Kitty, outside, at her door in the bathroom!

I found the price – its up there but comparable to US prices. 1Euro=$1.10 right now, so it was $71,000 – $84,500. I read a bit of French still, so I figured out this price (one of the two or somewhere in between, it wasn’t clear) is as seen in the pictures, furniture, lighting, shelves, heating (which BTW is on the wall next to the sofa) kitchen appliances, dry toilet, etc. The unit is 6m long which is about 18 ft. It looks a bit longer to me though.

Can someone tell me what the box type white plastic thing is? It sets on the (looking towards bathroom) sits on the right tire wheel. I read everything and it is not covered. Also it is a cute home but the is some much open space that is going to waste. I mean in the kitchen, under the ladder,(I couldn’t tell if the ladder is removeable)? There is room for a washer dryer come? I would live In it, but use all the open space for maximum usage. Anyhow would love to know what the white thing is anyone can help me out with this thanke

Wall unit is a space heater… Ladder is actually stairs, so not removable…

Something to understand about Tiny Houses built in other countries around the world that, outside of the States and Canada, most other countries have to deal with a max gross vehicle weight limit of usually no more than 3500 kg (7,716.179 pounds). So they have to keep them pretty light weight to both keep it below that limit and still have a payload capacity for the all the stuff the owner will put into it to actually use it… Smaller roads can also make them more strict on maximum dimensions as well…

While building something like a house tends to make them pretty heavy, larger THOWs can reach and exceed 20,000 pounds and even mid size THOWs can exceed 10,000 pounds in the States and Canada. So saving weight is hard to do without trimming off everything down to the bare minimum amount of materials…

Other countries can also have more temperate climates, different construction standards, and cultural differences for what’s considered normal and what is given priorities can give a variety of reasons why the design will look different from what you may be used to…

Thank you so much you were very quick to respond. Heater? I had not seen one like that before. The weight I thought in the U.S. was around 10,000. I just figured out you can travel to other Countries for shipping price. I just can’t wait to hit the High way in my Van. There is so much to see and do, and when I’m done off to some cool countries.
Thank you again James really appreciate it. Julie

You’re welcome, there are some roads that are more restricted in the states but the max allowable on highways is a lot higher and you can go over those limits with an oversize/overweight permit as they will approve your route to ensure the roads you use can handle it…

Most other countries don’t have a national highway system and can have much older and smaller roads to deal with… While you may be required to have a special license if it’s over 26,000 lbs for the combined vehicle and tow weight, which depends on the requirements of the state that issues it, and some other countries may have similar exceptions/requirements…

But, if going to another country with something built in the states then you’d have to be aware of that country’s restrictions and whether or not you’d be allowed to use their roads.

Though, a van should usually be safe to transport to most countries… and there’s a number of people who travel the world that way but good to look up what paper work, etc. you’d have to fill out before going as there can be a processing time that may take months, especially, these days…

This is very nice. The only thing that bothers me is that I don’t think the shower has enough “lip” around it to contain all of the water. If I took a shower in there, I just know it would pool all over the wooden floor.

    • James D.
      April 17, 2021, 3:10 am

Well, the floor pan is sloped to the drain. So it would have to start filling up to even reach the lip. While that’s a low flow shower head, which would usually require the drain to be clogged to be a issue…

While I think they used a wood look material flooring in the bathroom, note how it differs from the other flooring, and the aluminum transition at the entrance to the bathroom would also prevent any small spills from flowing out of the bathroom… So should be pretty safe even if you did manage to pool it a bit…
