York Beach is an awesome New England vacation spot and this little pine cabin is just a short walk or bike ride from local beaches. But you also get the lovely feel of being in a wooded area, since the cabin sits on the edge of a forest. Best of both worlds!
The one-room cabin has a futon that can turn into a ground-floor bed, but it also has a cozy loft for kids or adventurous adults. There’s a little kitchenette as well, and an outdoor shower. What do you love about this cabin?

No toilet? 😳
LOL!
Except in the main house, just 25 feet away…
Sometimes 25′ is a long way to go when you really have to go, right? That little tiny building next to the outdoor showers could become a composting toilet. I love the cabin. The fresh wood look is beautiful, and the kitchen area is quaint. I like the loft, too. New England would be a lovely place to visit.
True but there can be restrictions on what’s allowed in the area, especially near a body of water…
I hadn’t thought about that, but you’re right. It would contain human waste, so not a good idea.
