Their 3 Years And 3 Rigs, On The Road…

This post contains affiliate links.

Brie & Shawn wanted to enjoy being out in nature with their dogs and escape the pricey Seattle-area rent. Their first van was the cheapest they could find, and they soon upgraded to a Sprinter, and finally (for now) their 2019 Ford Transit.

Their story is a good reminder that your first van (or tiny house) might not be your last — and that’s ok! You just have to start somewhere. Now their brand and photography are enough to cover their bills and fund their travel lifestyle. Pretty awesome!

On conversion sites such as ‘skoolie.net’, we see it constantly:
    * ‘this rig is my forever rig so it must be perfect!’
    .
We mostly full-timed live-aboard since the mid-1970s in busses, semi trucks and trailers, and since 2003, our ExpeditionVehicle.
Each of our rigs fit our needs at the time.
We grow and learn, our rig requirements evolve.
    .
The quest for the unobtainable ‘perfect’ leads to building, evolving, demolition, re-build, watch a video, demolition… and the rig sits, never traveling.
    .
    Suggestion:
    * get a cheap van or bus, toss in some car-camping gear, go exploring.

Wow!!! 1st picture looked like a mansion. I love this. Colors are striking and that stove. I would cook like mad with that stove. The dog is adorable. This is mind blowing. Very clean.
