Maybe it is the angle, or I missed something; in the guest cabin, are the bunks double beds as well? Otherwise I only see sleeping for 4. ??? Thanks…..otherwise this would be awesome for a family retreat!

Yeah, I was wondering about that. To sleep 6, they’d have to be AWFULLY good friends. Very close 😀

The government is about to end all these leases so beware

I think that you’ll find that the lease(s) have quite a long time on them before they run out and the Government can’t just kick them off. A contract is… surprise, a contract. I think even James D would agree with me on that.

Depends on fine print, there’s usually a clause to revoke… Eminent domain, government can also seize land if deemed for the greater good… Present US administration just recently seized about 2 million acres of land, for example… Back in 2016 the government seized over 100 million over the previous three year period of just Alaska land…

Not entirely absolute, Contract works to a point and in some cases can be fought in court, but for those in charge there are exceptions where they choose where the contract applies or doesn’t and it can be very hard for the average person to contest it…

Well that’s one for New Zealand and… well minus 10 for the US.

Unbelievable that the US Government can over-ride contract law like that. 😟

Well, you might want to look into the present status of KiwiBuild… They’ve been pushing new laws over the last few years to grant Government the right to confiscate land for KiwiBuild and expanding the Urban Development Authority powers to build quickly, including the ability to force landowners to sell up if they need the land for housing…

Things like this don’t happen overnight but special interests chip away at it over decades and most people don’t realize until it directly effects them…

It’s one of the reason the populist movement has been gaining momentum world wide and why establishment elites and media has been fighting it tooth and nail… They’ll tell you one thing but…
