The Nest Tiny House on Wheels

This post contains affiliate links.

“The Nest” is a tiny house on wheels (6’x6′) with a storage loft. It’s my second tiny house. You can see my first one, “The Darling” here.

I lived in this one for 7 months, then because I was making plans to work in AZ in a contract position, and would be going back and forth from AZ to NC so much, I sold that tiny house and bought a tiny bus.

It was green with a stained door. You can see it all below.

Marsha, I don’t know what work you are doing, but you should really consider going pro designing tiny homes. All 3 of the one’s you’ve done are fantastic.

Rick, it weighed about 3700 at most. It was built on a 6000 pound axle, so the give and take in hauling would not stress the springs to their max. It was very easy for my Ford Explorer to haul.

You lived in this full time for seven months? Cute as a space to read or relax away from the family, but full time would be a serious test of my seriousness for “Tiny.”

Swoon! I’d enjoy having a cute little thing like this one! I love just how tiny it is, very cute! I like your style. I’ll tell my children, when I am old don’t put me in a “home” just get me a tiny house like this to stick me in.

One of the sweetest little micro home’s I’ve seen in a long time.
I’m wanting to create a single axle 12 foot camper with old barn wood and corrugated tin roof. You’ve given me ideas. Thank you!

All 3 of your Tiny homes are so charming! I love your style. Using your children or a camping site toilet/shower facilities helps keep the homes small. I love your various showering solutions!

Wow… this one is really tiny and yet looks really cozy. It kinda has a french country style inside.
