With plenty of storage it could make a wonderful tiny home as well. It is not designed to be traveling all about as an RV.

Very creative and reuse samples. Definitely a single Gnome’s hide out but a bit cramped for two I would think. That roof shingling is exciting. Are those hand cut asphalt shingles? This is the exact roof look I want for three of my design so I am stealing it for their books.

OK…I am a bit confused, I will admit. Under the loft, where people sleep, is a composting toilet? In the “kitchen” is a stove, fridge, sink, a convertible couch/futon and a steel tub, with a curtain, and a sink with a wheelbarrow design? How does one get to the loft (I am 5’2″). With Bill on this one: perfect for a gnome and his faithful companion, but too rustic for me to live in. I love the outside, too adorable and Yogi for words, but you have to be a special and dedicated camper for this. Best of luck and Happy Trails.

The composting toilet is in the front driver cab area.. So it essentially has its own room and that tiny door next to the front door is how you access it… A more recent addition, not shown, is an AC unit he mounted right above the driver side seat in the cab area as well… So, like it says in the article, it’s not meant to be driven around like an RV…

For the loft, looks like you just climb the corner bench… There’s a corner step right above the bench that you can step onto to lift yourself the final distance into the loft, which isn’t actually that high as you can see from the second photo that the top of the front door is higher than the loft.

While you only need to enjoy off-grid living for this as it has all the basic comforts… So this would be more like living in a cabin than camping…
