The Doll’s House: Cornish Seaside Tiny Home

This post contains affiliate links.

This is The Doll’s House, a Cornish Seaside Tiny Home that’s for sale (as of April 12th).

Admittedly, it doesn’t come at a tiny price tag (likely due to it’s seafront locale), but I loved looking at this funky home squeezed between two much larger buildings. It’s just 339 sq. ft. and features a red, white and blue color scheme, which might be for the Union Jack, but feels pretty “Fourth of July” as well! The house is long and skinny, and looks like a lot of fun.

From the sellers:

The Dolls House is a quaint mid terrace one double bedroom, two reception room character cottage situated in an enviable position within the highly regarded and extremely popular coastal village of Porthleven. The property which is one of the most well known dwellings within the village due to its unusual size boasts a stunning vista from the front elevation with direct harbour, clock tower, beach and extensive sea views framed by the Lizard Peninsula in the backdrop.

Of course, upon entering the cottage you will find yourself equally enamoured as the bijou yet welcoming rooms provide a snug warm feel. The unusually shaped dining area has sea views and leads through to a comprehensive kitchen which in turn leads to a fitted shower room. The first floor provides a cosy sitting room with fine views of Porthleven and the captivating Cornish sea.

The accommodation is completed by a good size double bedroom. The property is currently utilised as a successful holiday let and we strongly recommend a viewing to appreciate all that that this fascinating property has to offer.

I was so surprised that there was a bedroom. What would I have done differently. I would have had a pullout couch and I mite have hung the tv from the ceiling. This reminds me of a man that I watched a couple of summers ago. He took over a driveway and slowly made a business. He literally took a 2 by 4 and nailed them into the sides of the buildings next door…I mean, no plywood on the outside, no insulation, etc. And, I said to myself, “mind your own business”. This is a cute place. Rite now, I am trying to pay off $17,000 of debt not including the car…and nothing to show for it. I am jealous of your little house. Thanks for sharing.
