The Big Green Bus: A Double-Decker Cabin in Sussex

This post contains affiliate links.

This is The Big Green Bus in the Sussex countryside of England. If you’re into buses, you don’t want to miss this one. It’s a three-bedroom double-decker conversion by Adam Collier-Woods.

The main level features the kitchen, lounge, dining, wood-burner, and a bathroom. Upstairs you have three bedrooms along with a pretty-awesome living area consisting of two of the original bus seats. It’s so nice! Definitely worth adding to your wish list. Check it out below.

The Big Green Bus Cabin in England

The double-decker bus is nested in the woods, just like a cabin.

The deck makes it live like a cabin, too!

Going inside, most of the bus features are still in tact.

But at the same time, it’s cozy like a home.

Isn’t it incredible how well of a job was done?

You can actually book a stay on this bus if you ever wanted to.

I’m definitely adding it to my wish list!

And yes, there’s an onboard bathroom on the first floor.

The shower 🙂

Back to to the kitchen and living area which I’ll bet turns into a great dining space too.

That’s the way upstairs!

There are three little bedrooms up here. Here’s one of them.

One of them features bunk beds.

The bottom bunk gets the window.

The top bunk.

There’s some extra lounge space up here too.

Perfect space to read and relax or get on the laptop.

The staircase that gets you up and down.

The wood-burning fireplace.

The doors open up nice and wide.

How bad do you want to stay here? Would you ever consider converting one if you ever had the chance?

And if you converted one would you live in it yourself or rent it out to others?
