The design is 11’4″ wide and 42’6″ in length which includes the 7’10” porch all of which is built on a park model trailer. The floor plan is simple and practical with everything you need available on the first level. I love this design because it includes a bedroom with closet space as well as bunk beds in the hallway. Just 99.99% perfect for me…..just add some color and bookcases around the door in the LR and TV above the fireplace and I am set……love the floor plan.

Wider trailers can be moved with special permits, and additional vehicles may be required to drive in front and behind with “Wide Load” signs.

This is really, really nice and what makes it even nicer is the lot cost and what’s included! I’m seriously going to have a talk with my husband, so we can sell our home and buy one like it in the very near future.

oh, I do like that one. Kitchen makes sense and the living room is great! Nice porch.
I’ve seen condos use the hall way for bunk beds> its a great way to have extra sleeping space
I could certainly live in this, just drop it on a foundation and you’re good for life.

LOVE the footprint of this home. We just bought a recliner loveseat for our “small” WWII 2BR/1BA home. It opens flat one/both sides so it could make another sleeping area for 1-2 people. IMHO a recliner would be more comfortable than a straight-back sofa, even with all those pillows. I would also put a chair-and-a-half where that smaller chair is; that could sleep a smaller child. I am with Sherry re: the bookcases and TV, maybe even a smaller one in the Master. Also, just something that I would do…add some curtains on the bunks (one attached to the ceiling, one attached to the upper bunk bottom) just to give the bunkers a little privacy. These are just MY personal preferences…I LOVE the house and would definitely live in it!!! LOVE the porch; could see me sitting out there, drinking coffee and reading one of the bazillion books I have! Would there be room in the loft for 2 double beds; one against the window and one perpendicular? If we own our own land and a TINY home is allowed, could this be moved? Did I mention I LOVE it??? 😀 <3

It’s a Park Model RV, so it can be moved but they’re not meant to be moved over long distances… But most are built by companies with national factory branches and you can just usually order one from the one nearest you…

I believe this is one of Clayton Homes models… Most can also be found at dealerships, just like other RV’s, but the big companies like Clayton you can order direct and even get some limited customizing done…

Any dealer really close to Estero FL?

Is there a dishwasher? I don’t want a vacation house where I have to wash dishes! I would also need space for a table and chairs at normal height. That bar stool height can be very uncomfortable and unsuitable for doing things such as crafts, using my computer, etc.

A beautiful example of the versatility and style you can create! We are trying to bring them to our local small town and it’s nice to see Tiny Houses becoming more and more popular.

I went back over the different styles available and had a better look at the Lake walk community. If something came along like that in some parts of B.C., people would be lined up around the block. $450 a month for pad rental is very inexpensive. Most parks start at $650 here, where you could “park” a tiny home. but then again our land values are much higher. If long term leases were available, 20, 30 years, people would have a sense of security, which is essential for people who want to age in place.
On Vancouver Island, B.C. many manufactured homes, which are 20 years or older will still cost you $165K and up for a single wide. These manufactured home parks usually start at $450 amonth for pad rental. There is no security of tenure for the land lease which may result in you paying the $165K and 5 years down the road discovering you’ve all been given eviction notices. In many of these parks you’re purchasing the right to lease/rent the pad.
