This is a 144 sq. ft. custom tiny house on wheels built by students at the Chicago High School for Agricultural Sciences (CHSAS).

It’s 24′ long, 8.6′ wide, and 12.3′ high. It’s designed to sleep up to five people. Priced at just $8,000. What do you think?

Specifications:
– Area: 144 square feet
– Dimensions: 24’ length x 8.6’ width x 12.3’ height
– Bedroom: sleeps 4-5 in loft and kitchenette
– Kitchen: sink, room for mini-fridge, outlets for microwave/toaster oven
– Bathroom: Shower, sink and space for toilet
– Owner must purchase toilet
– Small deck in rear

Transporting:
– Attaches to vehicles by hitch
– Max speed: 45 miles per hour

Lighting powered by:
– 12v battery (converts D.C. to A.C. power)
– 30 amp plug/circuit (RV Park)
Water: The tiny house hooks up to:
– Plumbing is installed to sinks and shower.
– A garden hose (sources: house, well, other)
– RV Park water sources
– Grey water bin for sinks and shower

    Adorable. I would use the dinning living area for a bed at my age but wow great job and awesome price.

      I agree with Glanda. I would not be able to get up in that loft! But I love this little house! They did a great job on it!!!

    Impressive. Downside is towing speed of max 45 mph. Otherwise great job for the price.

    I admire the thought the kids put into this house; but sleeping 4-5 people is for a vacation RV, not a home to live in. No way more than one person should live in something that small. Anything more is just cruel.

    My only concern would be the trailer frame and would the frame last for a long time? The build is super! You did a great job and at this price I may be interest in buying one of these in the future!
