One of my favorites!!!
Lovely home, but I see some trouble spots that perhaps the builder can clear up? The deck – what kind of wood is that and is it treated with an anti rot finish?
Inside: The stovepipe on that black stove by the wall suggests it is either a woodburning or pellet stove. Is that the case? If so, placing it so close to the wall without a heat shield makes it a fire hazard. Without a heat shield, the safest closest position would be 18″ or more. Just curious. Perhaps the stove is electric and the piping is for looks.
The natural, unpainted wood inside adds to the coziness and the murphy bed/couch set up is a smart use of limited space being used for multifunctions.
Hi Denise — the stove is electric. Not sure about the decking, but I imagine he will keep up with it if it rots.
Thank you Natalie!
Where (State) is this located?
