Now THIS is a unique tiny house stay if there ever was one — spend the night in a stable with a gorgeous Friesian horse!

You’ll have half of the stable to yourself, where there’s a single and double bunk bed. From the top bunk, you can pet the horse or feed her treats like carrots! You also have a little kitchenette for basic self-catering, and a bathroom with a shower and eco toilet.

It’s certainly tiny and quirky, but an experience you’ll never forget! (Don’t worry, the horse pen is portioned off from your part of the stable). Book your stay here.

Well… Equestrians of course… There’s also historically many examples of homes that were either built on top of or integrated with spaces that animals were kept…

All animals have odors to deal with, dogs, cats, etc. but if you love the animal and are going to live with it then that’s part of the deal and there are people who absolutely love horses and some even treat them as part of the family… Besides, they do regularly clean up the stables and it’s not all stinky like you imagine… Though, being out in nature can require an adjustment period if you’re only used to city life…

Looks great. It’s how our ancestors built their homes so both sides could share heating and milking in cold weather. I grew up sharing a room with two older brothers so strange smells are nothing new.

Oh I just love this……..I so love horses and dogs, both to together perfectly. I would have a dutch door between the 2 places instead of my bed next to the horse’s stall……we are all humans creatures, the only difference is that we all look different and talk different yet we all feel love and pain and cry and laugh…yet most of us do not accept that fact.

Oh man! If I lived in England, or if I had the means to fly to another country right now, I would stay in this place in a heart beat! It’s so unique, and what a beautiful setting it would be. Horses or so cool!

Now that’s something you don’t get to do very often. I would probably do it just for the experience. And those are really beautiful horses 🐎

Look again, Natalie- that is most definitely a male horse. And, the place would be “world renowned”.

That said, it wouldn’t be the first time I slept in a stable with a horse, but that looks considerably more comfortable than my former accommodations 😀

I would love this. Much more comfy than sleeping on the ground around a campfire and having a beautiful horse to talk to and love on would be wonderful. Hey girl, whatcha reading? You could stroke my soft muzzle instead and then read me a bedtime story.

I grew up with horses, goats, cattle, etc and spent a lot of time in barns, tack rooms, empty horse dtalls and the like, often sleeping on hay bales (might partially explain my old aching back!). The smell of the hay, warmth & nearness of the usually sleeping animals was comforting and I had no difficulties sleeping back then.
