SKOOLIANA: His 2003 Ford E450 7.3L Diesel Bus Turned Home

For a $15,000 total investment, Isaac went from van short roof van to an awesome diesel short bus he’s been living in and out of for about a year and a half.

His bus features an epic roof-top deck, a back deck, and a very creative — if a bit primitive — shower/toilet set up! His $30 live-edge countertop is one of his favorite features in the bus and it’s easy to see why.

He’s also a pleasure to listen to, and says his favorite part of bus life is the community and the people he’s met along the way. Watch his interview with Tiny Home Tours below!

His woodworker friend designed some cool inlays in the bus.

He has a great cabin aesthetic going on.

I love this! Cute and cozy. . .did I miss the shower? Was that it behind the barn door next to the bed area? I love that! Very liveable. Great Job. Your friend is very good with design, too.

He actually pulls out a pan from under the couch and then has a gravity system that hooks to the ceiling. And a curtain he can hang around it. He said he uses it mostly in emergencies.
