The Laughing Llama Farm Silo House in Texas

The silo house on the farm has plenty of covered outdoor space. There are rocking chairs on the farm for visitors to relax while taking in the beautiful views. The farm is a great place to visit and spend time outdoors.

The interior of the silo home has a living area and kitchen downstairs and a spiral staircase to the cozy but spacious loft bedroom upstairs.

The kitchen has all of the amenities you would need, including a stove, refrigerator, and sink.

The vintage-style kitchen with open shelving is perfect for the home cook who loves to be surrounded by her tools and ingredients. The exposed shelves make it easy to grab what you need, and the old-fashioned feel of the kitchen adds a touch of charm. Whether you’re baking a pie or just boiling water for pasta, this kitchen is sure to make cooking a joy.

The living area has a comfortable couch and chair, as well as a small table.

The spiral staircase leads to the loft bedroom, which has a queen-sized bed and plenty of room to store your belongings.

Stairs that lead up to the loft with custom made railings made by the owner’s Dad, the one and only, creative mechanical genius guru and THE original out of the box thinker – Jim Feaster! Crafted from pipe, panel and salvaged 100+ year barn wood.

The home is perfect for someone who wants a small, simple home with all the amenities.

The loft bedroom is the perfect place to relax and escape from the world.

It has a cozy, intimate feel to it with its vintage furniture and reclaimed wood ceilings.

The natural light that comes in through the large windows makes the space feel even more spacious and inviting.

It’s the perfect place to curl up with a good book or take a nap on a warm day.

Ceiling of the Silo House! Reclaimed barn wood from 2 special places. 1st, the barn where the Silo originally sat on a farm in Central Texas. The 2nd, an old Sears & Roebuck house in Troy that belonged to our “adopted” grandparents we had as kids.

The bathroom in the silo house is a charming and cozy space, featuring white tile on the walls and floor, vintage sink and faucets, towel racks, and cottage-like siding on the walls.

It’s the perfect place to relax after a long day or take a soothing bath.

There is an indoor as well as an outdoor shower option on the property.

The natural light that streams in through the large window makes the space feel even more spacious and inviting.

There’s even a stacking washer and dryer in the cottage.

This is the amazing outdoor shower setup where you can shower under the big sky.

The private outdoor shower is a great way to relax and take in the natural surroundings. The sun shining down and the big sky makes for a perfect backdrop while you soak in the shower. It’s the perfect way to start or end the day, and it’s definitely a unique experience that you won’t almost anywhere else.

Where we started. 2 abandoned corn silos in a field 50 miles away. This was the day we tore them down to move them. A journey that has been amazing!

    LOVED it until bedroom and bath are on different floors 😢. Amputee&being old makes going up and down more than once a day a not-fun experience. Small powder room upstairs and I am there 🥰

    Loved the house except (you knew that was coming didn’t ya) the roof. O M G! I got dizzy just looking at it. I give it a 98 out of a hundred.

    Lovely house and they did a very nice job with the landscaping, but I can’t be the only one who saw that first picture at the top of the page and expected the house to tell me that only I could prevent forest fires.

    The outside decor and environment are outstanding. I could definitely relax there. However, I would have to walk away when it comes to the interior. I can’t tell what theme they’re trying to go for. Rustic, country farmhouse, cabin, eclectic, modern? Those mixed bright colors? 🤢 It makes no sense and isn’t a place I would ever visit.
