Storage in a Micro Camper

The most popular model, the Biscayne, offers a screened door and window on both sides so you can have easy access to get in and out but also to give you great natural ventilation.

You’ll find that these little campers pack a lot of storage. There are separate cargo space and full-width cabinets. The cabinets open from the outside as well. It acts as a mini galley and ultimately leaves you with more interior space.

Looking for a teardrop travel trailer, perhaps a used one to keep the cost even lower. I live in the Tampa Bay area, & I understand that the Signa Tour teardrops are made here. I would love to buy direct from the factory as another alternative to keeping the cost down. I would love to look at a Signa Tour up close. Please email with info.

    The Question is =
    Is the teardrop shape functional?
Is it aerodynamic? Or just a style from the past?
You see alot of old styles that were …just the style.
The bigger the box ,the more it holds, so this one is better .Its only 5 by 8 and entering onto a bed is not as good as entering into a vestibule-empty space. It looks well finished.

Anybody know where the battery is located and how to access/change?

My signatour is in the north and I remove the battery every season. On the rear of the camper, open the large storage cabinet door. On the left side is a small black plastic door covering the electric access. Remove the 3-4 bolts and remove the door. Using a square head bit on a screwdriver, remove the screws holding the electric switch cover on and remove the cover. Now you should see the small battery inside the opening. Pull off the wires, and remove the battery. I’ve replaced the battery 3 times. They don’t last very many recharges.

By the way. the lights on the top of my camper have quit working. Some wiring has shorted out somewhere. If anyone knows the wiring diagram or the location of the wiring connection for the top lights on the biscayne, let me know. The amber side lights and the tail lights all still work.
