I love what I see but would love to see clearer rooms shots. For example, is there a bedroom? I love shotgun houses, in general and 490 sq ft is a good size living space.

I agree with Lee Ann that some better pictures would be a sale point. I love the idea of one-floor living and few stairs(over 70) for us seniors. Getting this type of structure in kit form would fill a big need. Whole developments could be carved out of unused lands or for 1St Nations to set up resorts and better housing for each Nation. I would like to see the advancement of Hemp technologies with nontoxic materials and renewables. Getting a lightweight Hemp/Bambo/ Palm wastes panel for small single level homes, somewhat like the units made from Cardboard in Europe, substituting these wastes or lower-cost materials.

Bill, I’m really interested in hemp building products, too. Check out HempCrete–amazing product. Kit form would be great, I agree. The housing-cost situation in the US must be addressed–sooner rather than later.

Can you put a 14×35 Shotgun Tiny House by Willow bee Tiny Home, in Northern CAlifornia?

It’s foundation built, which means it depends on what the local building codes and zoning allows on the property you want to put it on… Every county can be different, so best to contact the local authority for the area you’re interested in and see what is the minimum sq ft allowed, etc.

HOW MUCH $$ WOULD IT TAKE TO HAVE ON MY PROPERTY IN PLACER COUNTY NORTHERN CALIFORNIA, WHAT WOULD BE THE TIMELINE TO HAVE IT COMPLETED?

I see what looks like a full size washer/dryer stackable set and wonder if there is a full size refrigerator as well and how about some pics of kitchen/storage – if bedroom is up that ladder, count me out! The little strangely set up alcove with the curtain must be the eating area but why the curtain? There should be enough sq ft for a bedroom on the first floor because I have one in my 425ft camper – I want to see a small home with a basement!

Maybe the people who have this place are sort of like me. Finished eating… oh, I’m full, I’ll do them later… oops, there’s people at the door, quick pull the curtain to hide the mess on the dining table… well, that’s a possible reason methinks.

Well, well, well, shoulda looked at the builder’s website. Used them funny blue words in the text and gosh, they are links. Turns out the dining area can be converted to a sleeping are. Hence the curtains.

Agreed, tiny house with a basement would be wonderful to see!

It’s irritating when the pics don’t give you a sense of the space. Is there a living area or ground floor bedroom? Why no pics of the kitchen? If this is for sale I’d never consider it based on these pics even though the size and dimensions are very attractive.

Nice house…would appreciate to know the area of the house as in the floor plan…

From what I can see, from the order of the photos… little patio entrance has a loft above it and a seating area next to it that can be re-arranged to form a bed… The main side patio with sliding glass doors is just past this and the remainder of this area is the kitchen… Passed the bead curtain is a hallway where they put a stacked washer and dryer and the door to the bathroom, which takes up the middle of the house… then a regular interior door to the other side of the house which is a room and finally another door to the exterior…

What’s missing is photos of the kitchen and that last room but otherwise that’s the layout…

Ah, OK, it makes sense that the Bedroom is in the back–that’s standard layout for a Shotgun House. The photo from one of the rooms toward the hall with the W/D combo must have been taken from the Bedroom. Odd they didn’t photograph the Bedroom itself. Alas.

I would have liked to see the kitchen. From what I did see it looks great but I can’t figure out what the house looks like?
