I ran into a video that features a converted shipping container cottage and workshop in Australia. They started the conversion in 2006.
One container serves as a workshop and the other as living space, or as they call it… a weekend cottage.
They have added several features including a covered front porch, rain water collection system using a plastic barrel, fireplace, beautiful doors with windows, a garden, and much more.

This may be the case in USA, but in the UK they have been outlawed. I wouldn’t buy a Sealy or a Tempur mattress anyway, because they use the cheapest methods for fire retardency rather than those that are healthy.
