Alex,

Here’s a shipping container conversion I did in the CA desert.

It was used as a home office for an art dealer outside of Palm Springs.

Dan Sokol

Container to Office Conversion

Not a tiny home, but I can see this easily being converted into an apartment studio with just a few modifications.

Once we go inside you’ll see how it can easily be converted into a tiny livable house. Check out the rest below:

This is a basic 20′ container. Dan is able to convert these for clients starting in the low $20s price range.

If you’re interested and anywhere near his area he offers off grid living solutions, guest cabins, cabanas, and more.

Options include solar power, appliances, radiant heat, A/C, floor to ceiling windows, kitchens, bathrooms, murphy beds, LED lighting, built-in media and more.

More info on features you can get in his cabins here.

More photos of his previous works are available here.

And of course you can visit his homepage right here for more general info, how to contact him, etc.

What’s on the walls? Sheetrock? Really like this; very nicely done.
