Elisabeth was ready to get out of renting and had always wanted to build a little wooden house at some point. She actually wasn’t even aware that “tiny homes” were a movement until she began hunting for supplies. Much of the home came from reclaimed materials — things she found at the salvage yard or flea markets and repurposed. Oh, and she only spent 5000 Euros on the build!
She lived in the home for a while in the mountains but eventually found a farmhouse on land in Spain where there are orchards, nut trees, and an olive grove. Now her Little Wooden House is a vacation rental surrounded by nature.

idyllic location! amazing how different things can be when you don’t have to stick to building codes/rules and can wing it! Everything is compact but if you don’t need much this is perfect.
Wow! This tiny house has so much storage and functionality! Though for health reasons, I couldn’t consider a loft space (for now), I absolutely love the Railcar inspired roof 😍… right down to the curved wrought iron supports and bamboo trim and the windows which open up thru the roof to pull out heat and cool the space. AWESOME FUNCTION AND BEAUTY! Every piece of reclaimed furniture has a definite purpose…a full closet, storage stairs, the mirrored reclaimed bathroom door with curved wrought iron decoration …I LOVE the ideas behind these items!
This was a kinda long video but I never lost interest. I was amazed that she built this home on her own with her own hands and son many reclaimed and repurposed items. It was well worth the watch! Also, her voice was so relaxing to listen to. It was like therapy. 😔🌝
Thanks for this one! Very well done.

** I was amazed that she built this home on her own with her own hands and WITH SO many reclaimed and repurposed items. **
UNBELIEVABLE creativity ! Simply perfect!
I love the fact that you appreciate antique wrought iron and carved wood works and make it to fit into your tiny home. You have done very well for your first time building it and that says a lot in your time and love you put into your work. I have to say that your tiny home looks almost like a gypsy vardo, so you must have a gypsy soul. Good job and well done
Very well done!! I do the same I always see potential in cast off things & how they can be used again. I go to salvage yards, homes that are being “remodeled “ or torn down. I once stopped a bull dozer tearing into a house because I wanted to rescue the doors! They were beautiful with brass plates & glass door knobs. The bull dozer operator helped me take them out – I brought him lunch for his help & kindness ☺️
I have always loved this tiny house. It’s so lovely, and cleverly decorated and designed. I love the bathroom, and the natural wood accents throughout. Beautiful home!
