This is Jenna’s new tiny house porch! She just moved her tiny home to a new location, in the woods, so it was just the right time to finally fulfill her dream of adding a covered porch to her tiny house build! And it looks so awesome, doesn’t it?😍
That’s one of the things about homeownership, you really never stop making improvements, right? Glad I watched the video. Real nice porch and was done correctly!! Salise stole my heart.
The deck is very nice. I like the transparent roofing panels. I love the dog. Thanks for the video!
Love the porch!!! Whidbey is gorgeous!! I am originally from Washington and the forested areas on Whidbey are marvelous. I just moved in to my tiny house, which I did not personally help build, I just did the painting of the floors because I wanted something “different” and decided on “spatter paint” design and I really like it. I just used porch paint and then added multiple spatter colors. It is washable, was much cheaper than putting down flooring that I knew I would end up not liking because someone else would have it and the benefit other than cost . . . . when I get bored its a pretty cheap thing to change. I will eventually be building something else on my property, maybe a storage container home, but maybe this time I can get more hands on, this time around I just worked myself like crazy to be able to afford other people to do that work. The next expense on this one, a nice big deck off the back of the house to be able to watch the deer that wander around my property, I like the lights you used, where did you get them from and do you remember how much they were and how long a string?
I understand the benefits of having trees over your home, but storms do come and with that, trees sometimes fall over. If I placed a home in a wooded area, my pessimist tendencies would cause me to think about having a steel skeleton erected over the house to prevent potential fallen tree damage and possible injury or death.
That’s not a bad idea! There are always some dangers it seems.
