Check out this solar / wind powered off grid RV. It’s completely self contained including water. Well, as long as it rains some.

Watch for yourself:

Absolutely my RV dream come true, hit the road and not leave a heavy footprint/tire track- whatever! Not that I wouldn't like a small home just as capable on enough acreage for privacy and all that…I just have a terrible need to get some traveling in before it's too late.

Oh, and when you say, 'as long as it rains some' it brings to mind an excellent aspect of one of my dreamy faves: Tortoise Shell / Galapagos 3, where it says “This home can be completely free of normal hook-ups, by adding optional off grid solar and an optional high tech WATER treatment system which can use river or lake waters, etcetera.” Believe you me, if I had the full use of my arms and legs, I'd be building one of these RIGHT NOW.

Thanks for helping me keep MY dreams alive. Means the world to me.

There are other creative ways to go super green and off grid without spending so much and with a much smaller and faster footprint. Check out a Vanabode.
