Secret Bamboo Jungle Treehouse in Panama

This post contains affiliate links.

Tucked on a private sea-side residence in Panama hangs with stunning bamboo tree house build around a large central tree. It looks like something straight out of “Swiss Family Robinson”! There are two double bedrooms overlooking the jungle, as well as an open-concept living/dining/kitchen space.

You take a rope bridge and ladder up to your lodging, so be prepared for that! There’s an outdoor shower at the base of the tree, as well as a toilet up in the treehouse.

I could have handled it all when I was younger! Looks like a perfect place for a honeymoon. I am 75 y/o now, though, and beyond that.
    Still…it sure is beautiful!

Lovely house. Beautifully done. Someone please tell me that the place this house is built does not have tree snakes. When I lived in S.E. Asia (Thailand and Indonesia) for 20 plus years, I remember a few times seeing a snake fall out of a tree to the garden floor. This was especially true for plantings of yellow bamboo. My retired US army friend that had survived three tours in Vietnam refused to go near a grove of yellow bamboo because of snakes. I’m not trying to be a “Debbie Downer,” but one must consider these things. These comments are respectfully submitted. Stephan of Arkansas

Natalie: Happy holidays. Unfortunately, it appears that the Airbnb click-on given in this article is the incorrect one…it takes the reader to the treehouse in Washington state and not the one in Panama.
