Cute place for one or two people who are agile on a ladder. If that were me, which it’s not, I’d have to take out the kitchen cupboards under the counter left of the sink and put in a small apartment size stove and oven. I love to bake but not in a microwave.

This really is cozy and I could see a young person or young couple just starting out and wanting their own place living there.

In my efforts to live tiny, even though I’m in a 650 sq ft rental for now, I don’t use the stove or oven at all. I do my baking (I make all my own bread) in an Oster toaster oven that will hold a 9 x 13 pan. I use a single hot plate as my stove top. My microwave is .7 cu ft. It’s amazing what we can replace in our lives that we thought was absolutely necessary. Give it a try!

Wow Kathleen that’s remarkable! I’ve always thought I definitely needed an oven/stove 🙂 — Tiny House Talk Team

Wow! What a pretty cottage! It’s adorable!! Just love the kitchen, it sorta brings you back in time, with how it is set up. I love all the windows and the cute cafe style curtains. It’s bright and airy! Awesome painting near the dining room table, it ties it all together. Before I forget I like how the builder painted the wood ceiling white to give the cottage that cozy, warm, feeling. Who ever buys this place is going to be in for a real treat!! ???

Really cute. I don’t need a stove/oven, so the kitchen’s great. I’d rather see the refrigerator in the kitchen instead of the living room! These are what current zoning laws do to tiny house dwellers – put you in a driveway, in someone’s yard, but still in a congested area. The laws need to be changed so this adorable tiny home can be seen for all its majesty.

This has been up for sale for some time, now. I can remember when it was first being built. But the price is about 14-18 thousand dollars overpriced for the average THOW market; something sellers need to take into account. Either you are going to offer high-end quality, plus goodies (w/d, split air, storage staircase, s/s refrigerator; oven stove appliances,) plus a slamming interior decorating scheme that really grabs the imagination for some serious money, or you are selling a pretty standard build with a basically functional design scheme at a moderate price. This build falls into the latter category and buyers will find more appealing offerings elsewhere.

This build does have the benefit of location, however. If someone from MA is looking to purchase something cheaper/smaller, $49K is a significant savings from $300K+ “starter homes” in the area. — Tiny House Talk Team

I grew up in Mass in the greater Boston area. I know where Webster is; south of Worcester toward the east-west middle of the state. The biggest thing about owning in Mass is the cost of the land. My father purchased our first family house for 18.5 that now sells for 1.2 million USD. And then again, there are the taxes (they don’t call it Taxachusetts for nothing) which is a legacy of Southern Republicans invading the Northeast during the 1960’s with the plan of turning a (liberal) Democratic stronghold Republican. With the help of IBM, Raytheon, and Sperry-Rand, they were successful. My family left Mass for greener pastures.

This is cute! But I didn’t see a heating or air condition unit. I would have put in an apartment size stove in kitchen where they have toaster oven. Didn’t see a closet either.

I’d be surprised if there was no heating unit (perhaps in the loft?), but I agree, no closet. — Tiny House Talk Team

Seen it, like it, would live in it if I could…! It is one of the more outstanding Tiny houses I have seen and priced at a decent price, which is more than fair to those who are looking for a tiny house of this quality….!

What is the width and length of this tiny house?

  • Janet

If you want to make things less expensive, think about having your tiny house built in the city or state in which you want to live. I live in California, and they charge a bundle to build a tiny home here. I want to move to TX and the prices are lower. TX charges less to deliver as well. Many companies offer their own financing, even rent to own. Even if I have to fly down there once or twice, I’ll save $10,000 or more in the long run. Just be sure to check out the reviews/complaints of the company first!
