Sand Pebble Cottage on Cape Cod

This post contains affiliate links.

This itty bitty cottage on Cape Cod has been named the “Sand Pebble,” which perfectly sums up the feeling inside this beachy tiny home.

You walk into the open living room and kitchen space, while a separate bathroom and bedroom hide behind a couple of doors. The kitchen was recently renovated, and even has a washer/dryer unit so you can wash your bathing suit after a long day of beachin’ it!

LOVE the size. It’s something about 400 sq ft that really fits my idea of “Small Home” I like the board and batten as well as the use of a minimal kitchen. Having it in town so a senior can walk to stuff is a major plus and shows how feasible ADU’s can be for ANY town or city…I would like to see a better ceiling treatment, maybe open it up for volume and expose the rafters…Allows a Dormer type skylight.

This is adorable! I want it! It’s so cozy and pretty, and the floor design is just perfect. How clever to “sink the sink” into the wall to conserve space? It even has a great outdoor space. I love this!

Really cute, comfortable. I might add a little curtain to cover the washer-dryer. Great little place.

I could absolutely live in this little cottage full time, I love it. As far as opening the ceiling up to the rafters, being in Cape Cod I really don’t think that is a practical idea due to need for insulation, (and looking at the photo of the roofline from outside I don’t think you would gain much height). You could make the ceiling look a little better with just drywall put up properly. Personally I would not change it, it keeps with the houses vintage look.

So cute and cozy! Loved the kitchen (and those clever touches such as the star drawer pulls). Pretty flooring, nice deck — ready to have some potted plants there — I would put a screen up to cover the washing machine — but all so very nice!!

I love this. So cozy and calming. Easy to keep neat. The only thing I would want is a natural gas stove. I don’t like cooking on electirc.

Wow, very nice. Refreshing to see something not on wheels.
