Rustic Tiny House For Under-$10k, In 2021

Stepping inside to the open layout with a downstairs sleeping arrangement.

There’s a simple kitchen built out with oversized windows but still room for a cabinet.

Currently the tiny home houses a piano, but unfortunately it doesn’t come with the sale. 🙂

It looks nice with the door open! If I bought this tiny house, I would definitely plan to upgrade to a custom-built french door. Maybe like Marsha’s.

I never thought I would hear myself saying this, but this person should be asking a lot more for this house. It has all the expensive stuff already in place like a great metal roof, great exterior siding (looks like cedar), great wood floor, trim, paneling in some places, electricity, stove, frig. . .everything you need really. Just needs a little finishing on the interior to taste. If it was my house, I would be asking at least $19,000, and that would be on the low end. I’m just saying. . . maybe take it off the market, finish the plywood on the inside, stage the place a little more (decorating) for the pictures, and raise the price some. Might be worth it. . .

I’d buy it if it was in my area. It’s way over in Minnesota.

Well, for probably about $3000 to $3500 you could have it hauled by professional, insured, bonded haulers to where you are and still only be investing about $12,000 to $13,000 for a house that is worth way more than they are asking and only needs a few interior cosmetics. It would still be a great deal!

Hmm, maybe true. Oh, I forgot that it has no plumbing or bathroom. Oh well.

Hmmm, I didn’t notice that. It has no kitchen sink either. My bad! Well, even without plumbing, I still think it is worth about $19,000 as is. However, you’re right. It may not be the best buy for you if you also have to pay to haul it.

Oh yeah, and no kitchen pipes. I paid $6k for my travel trailer a few years back and it had everything. I lived in it for 2 years in a mobile home park before moving into the little house where I am now. I sold the trailer for $3400. because the a/c broke and I took it out.

Its a nice little cabin getaway, You need to park it near water. Summer you could carry water, Boil it , or get the Berke thing that cleans water for you to drink. Have an outhouse dug. Not too close Just get a washtub pan for sink , run a line from it to outside so it goes out to the garden or nature. You have to move it. So in MN not too much, but out of state, costs rise to move it. It’d do as a hunting cabin or retreat for a weekend.
Being I grew up without , I could see this as my go to. Winters in MN last about 6 months though.
